George Matsiras has studied landscape design and has been working in this field for over 10 years.  Has co-operated with a well known landscape design company where he has managed important projects from designing - making the architectural plans up to delivering a finalized landscape to the customer’s expectations.

Observing landscape design in Greece it’s easy to notice that most of designs are lacking style. In some of the cases, the wrong use of soil material and its plantation, the quick implementation without taking into consideration landscape design specifications lead to its limited preservation.

Landscape design in Greece from its first steps was and is still treated with hesitance from a moral point of view, for its value for money and its usability.  The truth is that this, if not, should be a way of life, coming close to nature, becoming aware and sensitive with environmental issues.
